Hey Lucie, thanks for the support! I’m actually going to Kathmandu and Pokhara at the end of this month, any advice or tips? There will be a mini 2 or 3 day trek too.. Help!
Have fun with the rest of your adventures
Wow, you’re in for a real adventure! I did a short trek out of Pokhara, too (see http://lucieonthelam.com/2012/10/08/lifes-a-trek/), and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I would get out of Kathmandu as soon as you can!! The rest of the country offers so much more. If you need a trekking guide, I can hook you up with Som (http://lucieonthelam.com/2012/11/29/engaged/) — he’s great and can arrange for anything you need for a super reasonable price. Oh, and if you’re stuck in Kathmandu, my favorite spot is Boudha/Boudhanath.
Looking forward to hearing how it goes!
Lucie
The trek looks amazing! I’ll let you know about Som, I think we already have a guide but maybe Som’s better. Does Som do treks in Pokhara?
Wow thanks a lot
Yea! will definitely share my experience.
Yep, he does pretty much all the treks. He even took my law school friend up to Everest Base Camp. Feel free to e-mail me if you want his contact info! It’s gonna be an incredible experience.
